About CCAT | Funding | History | Meetings

Funding

CCAT is funded through four sources:

  • Children’s Trust Fund (funded by Welfare & Institutions Code 18967)
    • Includes proceeds from Kids Plate, fees charged from birth certificates, grants, bequests from private sources and any other funds appropriated by local and state government.
  • Child Abuse Prevention, Intervention and Treatment
    • State funds administered by the California Department of Social Services State Office of Child Abuse Prevention
  • Promoting Safe and Stable Families
    • Federal Family Preservation and Support Act of 1992
  • Community-Based Family Resource and Support
    • Federal funds administered by the State Office of Child Abuse Prevention

Programs Funded by CCAT

    The funding that CCAT receives is used to support Child Abuse Prevention programs and services in San Mateo County and is awarded through a competitive RFP (Request for Proposal) process.  Upcoming RFP’s will be announced on this web site.
